5 Exotic Fruits we should be Eating
I love exotic fruits, don’t you? There are some rare ones we simply don’t see often, and I’d like to share some of these.
Longans
Longans are similar to lychee and is often used as a medicine in China. It can be used for stomach aches, insomnia, amnesia, and has the ability to nourish the spleen, heart, blood and nervous system.
Dragon Fruits
Dragon Fruit is also known as Pitaya and looks almost like a dragon, covered in scales. The inside is usually white with black dots, or pink. Dragon fruits are known to reduce cholesterol, and has plenty of Vitamin C and antioxidants.
Guavas
Guavas are crunchy fruits that are commonly eaten in Asia. Some of the benefits include helping with eyesight, weight loss, treating diarrhea, diabetes, constipation, colds, coughs, high blood pressure, skin and even helps prevent cancer.
Star Fruits
Star fruit literally looks like a star when you cut it. It can be sour or sweet, depending on the type and how ripe it is. Star fruits are brilliant for acne, it also has the ability to lower cholesterol and cure headaches, ringworms and even chicken pox. There are plenty of Vitamin C and antioxidants as well.
Passion Fruits
Passion fruits are little seeds that are sour in taste, but is extremely delicious. It has lots of fibre and protein, Vitamin A, antioxidants and iron.
