Red Grape Sauce (or Jam)

Similar to the green grape sauce, this can be used as a sweetener for dark coloured desserts, anything with chocolate!

(Yields: 1 jar, Serving: Many, Prep time: 5 mins, Cook time: 8 mins)

Ingredients

  • 2 cup red grapes
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 sprinkles sea salt

Instructions

Wash red grapes with vegetable wash if possible, to remove the wax and pesticides.

Put it all in the blender and blend until it’s very smooth.

Pour it over the frying pan and let it cook in medium high for 3-4 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix 2 tablespoons of corn starch with equal amounts of water and stir.

Pour it over the pan and mix it with the grape sauce.

Add 3 sprinkles of salt.

Cook for another 3-4 minutes until everything is nice and thick, then spoon it out into a jar.

You can use this as a sweetener!
