Tea for Blood Defency, Fatigue and Insomnia

One of our favourite home recipes is this tea which promotes overall well being, longevity and helps symptoms of blood defency (anemia), fatigue and insomnia.

Uses

Promotes overall health and longevity.
Great blood replenishment for women, particularly around that time of month, or people who have just gone under blood transfusions.
Helps with symptoms of insomnia.
Helps calm the nervous system (great for people with anxiety).
Energises the mind and body, prevent fatigue.
Lowers cholesterol, protect the liver and heart.

Red Dates

Considered to be one of the healthiest fruits in China, red dates can replenish and tonify blood, improve insomnia symptoms, promote immunity, protect the liver and perhaps even prevent cancer. This is a brilliant fruit for the ladies, especially for that time of the month.

Longans

Longans have been known to invigorate the heart and spleen, nourish the heart, help with stomach aches, insomnia, and can even have a calming effect on the nervous system.

Drink this tea each day and promote your overall health and longevity! What you can do is boil a batch and put it in the fridge to drink.

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

3 dried longans
2-5 dried red dates (jujubes)
20 goji berries
2 cups of water

How to Brew the Tea

1) Give the dried longans, red dates and goji berries a quick rinse.
2) Add all the ingredients into a pot and bring it to a boil, then use medium heat to cook for about 10 minutes until the tea is a golden brown colour.

Pour the tea into a teacup or bowl and you’re done.

Serve while it’s hot or chill in the fridge and drink it cold.
