The Best Feelings in the World

I’m sure that every one of us has moments when we simply feel happy. Nothing else matters in the world, but this very moment. I would love to share some of mine, and encourage you to do the same.

Going outside for a walk, thinking about how good life is and soaking in the warm sun, when the temperature is just right.

Being with the people I love, even if it’s just seeing their smile.

Watching repeats of old shows that are nostalgic in some ways while I do other things on the computer at night.

When I have a dream, such as all my tooth fell out, or someone close to me has died, and realising it wasn’t real.

When I have completed all the tasks I have to do for the day and finally can relax all I want until it’s time for bed. That is just such a great feeling, I don’t have to worry about anything else that day.

The feeling of finally getting enough sleep!

When someone tells me that I’ve really helped them with something. I love that, and I love the act of helping, so when I know I have done it, that feeling just makes me so happy.

When I discover something that really inspires me.

Remembering events from the past that brings a nostalgic feeling is one of the most pleasurable things in life. That also includes watching shows that I once watched many years ago, the feelings of watching them again is so absolutely precious.

Getting back in contact with a friend I’ve either haven’t talked to in a long time or had a fight with.

Eating my favourite food that I haven’t eaten for a long time or just eating things I really love. Also, the moment when food finally arrives at a restaurant when I’ve been starving and waiting.

Hearing the sound of thunder and rain while lying in bed or on the sofa in my cozy home.

Meeting a singer/actor/voice actor that I’ve always loved their works of, getting photos with them and saying that I really love what they do.

When I have all day to go on the computer, I have such a happy feeling, thinking about all the fun things I can do.

When I feel that I’ve done a personal achievement, something I’ve set a goal up to do and has done it. That is when I really feel great about myself.

Taking photos in special events.

Watching and discovering a show that has wonderful values and philosophies. This can also go with songs, when I find a really inspirational song, I just want to hold onto it and watch/listen to it so many times.

Accomplishing something I had always wanted to do without giving up.

Finally having that pee I’ve been holding for a long time.

When I discover a song that I instantly click to the music and lyrics and can’t stop listening to over and over. I usually end up playing it so many times that I get sick of it eventually.

Feeling hopeful.

Remembering or talking to people who has inspired me in the past, that includes a lot of my teachers.

When I finally receive a big package that I ordered, and was dying to get. Opening it up and seeing what’s inside it is some of the funnest things to do.
